What Me takes off your plate
Me works behind the services your business already uses. You and your AI assistant talk to it; it does the rest.
Business and personal spaces
The business is its own space, and so is each person's personal life, with their own data, accounts and rules. The database keeps them apart, and today each space has its own sign-in.
- An admin role and policies with limits on what people and assistants may do
- An admin invites colleagues into the business space by email
- Leavers lose business access and keep their personal space
- One sign-in and one view across your spaces Planned
Everything that comes in, in one place
Outlook (your mailbox and the shared ones), Gmail, Teams chats and channels, texts and voicemail, gathered behind the scenes, one conversation per thread. New mail and Teams messages arrive within seconds once your system can be reached from outside, or every 2 minutes otherwise. Replies still go out from your own apps.
- Voicemails are saved and matched to the caller once their number is confirmed
- Voicemails are turned into text on the Me server itself, so the recording is never sent to an outside service. English only for now; Me keeps a short snippet and produces the full text again when you ask
Reach it from wherever you are
Ask your AI assistant. Text or email the system from your own verified phone or address; you get a notice, and the answer waits in your inbox. When a workflow needs a decision, it asks you by email, or by text when it's urgent, and you reply in plain words.
- Your assistant can email you a question and read your answer from your reply; anything consequential still waits for your approval
- Talking to it from Teams Planned
Workflows that run themselves
"Whenever an unusual charge posts, open a task." "Every Tuesday at 7, take out the trash." Multi-step workflows wait, remind and carry on by themselves, through restarts and daylight saving.
- Everything automatic runs as the person who set it up, and is checked again each time it fires
Attention instead of noise
Everything has a level: handled, waiting for you, or interrupt. Only interrupts reach out, by text or email with the details kept in your inbox, and only you can close one. Your AI assistant mentions pending items before anything else.
- A Teams @-mention of you shows up as something waiting for you
Money, watched
Bring in bank statements and ask where the money went, by category or by payee. Importing the same statement twice never doubles anything.
- Charges far above normal are flagged; bills raise their hand before they're due
- A payee you pay month after month is suggested as a monthly bill; nothing is created until you accept
- Invoices are checked for duplicates
- Payments are prepared, then made only with your passkey (against a simulated bank today; real banks are planned)
Calendar
Every Microsoft 365 and Google calendar you've connected, even several accounts of one provider, shows up in one list, earliest first, each event labelled with its account. The same meeting shows once, and if one account is slow, the others still answer.
- One sign-in per Microsoft or Google account
- Free time is checked across all of them the same way
- New events go to the calendar you choose, without invitations
- Your assistant can check your own Teams availability (available, busy, away), with your permission on work accounts. Only yours, never a colleague's
- Set your Teams status (busy, do not disturb, away) until a time you choose, with a status message
Approvals and hand-offs
Anything consequential waits for your yes, and critical actions need your passkey. Each account you connect is marked personal or work when you sign in, and you decide what your assistant may do on each: read, change, send, or anything involving money. Work accounts ask first, and you answer once, for an hour, or always; only you can answer, never the assistant. The request also shows up in your attention list, so you hear about it even if the assistant doesn't say a word, and the assistant can't dismiss it. Personal accounts don't ask first, except for money, and every send still waits for your yes. A company can set a minimum for its work accounts.
- Your assistant connects as its own agent, with only the access you give it, for a time you set; you can revoke it at any time
- Hand work to a colleague, or to a role, where it goes to whoever holds it with the least open work. Reminders and escalation if it stalls; finishing it completes your task.
Automations it suggests
When you connect an account or turn something on, Me looks at what that makes possible and suggests automations. You see what each one needs, grant each permission once, for an hour, or always, and nothing runs until you accept. Today it suggests one: letting mail about your coding sessions' work reach them (on a local install). More are planned.
Standing goals
Give Me a goal to work on over time, in your own words: "keep my task list tidy", "no client mail waits more than a day". It works on it as its own assistant, with only the access you give it, under the same approvals as any assistant of yours.
- You choose how long it runs, up to a year, and you can pause or stop it any time
- Anything high-risk, like money, still asks you. Only you can create one, never an assistant
- It can be limited to some of your accounts, for example one goal per client
- You can see what it did on each run, and what it cost
- Its spend is a share of your monthly allowance (20% unless you set it); when that runs out, it pauses instead of failing
Backups you control
Your data can be backed up every night, encrypted with a key that only you hold. Me keeps the newest backup from each of the last 14 days and 8 weeks.
- Backups hold no passwords or sign-ins; after a restore you connect your accounts again
- You can check a backup works without changing anything
- Whoever runs the server restores it there, and nothing is replaced until the restore has worked
- On a shared or hosted server, backups are looked after by whoever runs it
Memory
Tell it once: "I prefer morning appointments." Your own facts are kept right away; anything your assistant suggests waits for you to accept it, and you can make it forget.
Find anything
Ask for "everything about the water heater" and get the note, the task and the person together. Your past AI conversations are searchable too. When you search, Me also asks your connected Gmail, Outlook and Teams, and your Google and Outlook calendars, and shows what they find, without keeping a copy. Your private events stay private: you see them in search, your assistant never does, and cancelled events are left out for everyone. Your assistant can search those accounts too, with your permission: personal accounts directly, work accounts after you agree, and never a colleague's. Searching only reads.
